Well, the last five days I have been on vacation with my parents and I swear I am a different person than I was a year ago!

I will discuss this further on Monday night’s class, but suffice it to say I am not really triggered around my parents any more and when I am, it feels really mild and no big deal and my vibeswitches work really beautifully.

I feel that by me cleaning up my vibration around my parents, they have changed drastically in the last  year as well! My father quit drinking and my mother is much more kind and mellow!

I am feeling very grateful for ONA as well because I feel like I am able to be more present for them, more loving, and more able to really appreciate the precious time we have together. I adore these people and I adore myself for being so loving and compassionate towards them. It makes me feel true self esteem when I can be so genuinely kind and not letting myself indulge when triggered.

Don’t get me wrong. My mom still says things that push my buttons a little, but it is so clear to me that when she does it, she is not happy, so I feel deep compassion for her and even want to give her a hug!! Then, it passes and she is kind once again.

Since starting ONA, I have also healed a five year rift between my brother and I. Also, many old friends are coming back into my life.

ONA heals relationships by healing me and my triggers!

Hello Lovely Lights,

In this Monday’s Overcoming Negativity Addiction Class, we are going to be talking about the hormonal shifts that occur when we rewire our brains.

Also, we’ll be discussing the shifts in our identities as we recover from negativity addiction and how we may even grieve our old, drama addicted self. I’ll share a story about how my identity has changed in the last year. (My mother is vacationing with me one year after her last visit and one year since I started doing the ONA program).

The Power Vibeswitch we will be discussing this week is: “Giving Love and Compassion”.

I will give you tools to vibeswitch into a loving and compassionate place if someone is triggering you: They may be acting unkind or if you are triggered by feeling separate and alone in the world. If you are experiencing depression or resentment of any kind, the vibeswitch of giving love has the power to heal you.

We’ll be covering one Power vibeswitch a Week: Here are the upcoming vibeswitch discussions:

1. This week: Giving Love and Compassion
2. Next week: Surrender, Letting Go, Release, Present Moment
3. Following Week: Talking to Self, Listening to Self(Meditation)
4. Following Week: Fun, Humor, Laughter, Spontaneity
5. Following Week: Gratitude and Appreciation, contentment, loving what is.

At the end of each class, Macha will lead us in a fabulous meditation that will be a further vibeswitch using these techniques.

Hopefully, you are journaling or blogging every day about your triggers and which vibeswitches are working for you. Writing down your experiences makes this program 80% more effective because it increases our awareness. And awareness increases our healing from Negativity Addiction.

Overcoming Negativity Addiction Class 8-23-10

Okay, so for Days 5 and 6 I noticed a few of people around me having a hard time and it triggered me. I vibeswitched by taking a “time out” from the conversations with those people or just immediately switching into loving them, accepting them, giving them healings in my mind. It kept my biochemicals pretty darned clean, but I did fall into some self pity a couple of times.

The good thing is I noticed the self pity  trigger as well. I think my awareness of triggers by saying, “Just got triggered” is saving my biochemical a** these last few days. Before my ONA recommitment to notice my triggers and clean them up in three minutes, I think I would have been in a funk for days being around people who weren’t giving back.

Time outs are WONDERFUL things when you don’t want to flood your system with the negative biochemicals!! I recommend them highly when you just keep engaging the other person from the head space and not the heart space!

I also have been guided to some major life changes by my Guides last week and it has been a bit of a bumpy ride as my frequency feels like it’s being aligned and tweaked by my Higher Self and my purpose is getting very clear and feeling more pure to me. FUN and definitely important to use the vibeswitch of gentle self care during this time.

Ho Lovelies,

Well, today has been a bit of an overcoming negativity addiction roller coaster. I was triggered several times. (Triggers are those things that happen outside of us or inside of us that get us instantly focusing in ways that pour negative biochemicals into our bloodstream).

Today, a trigger would come up and I would say, “Just got triggered” and sometimes that alone would vibeswitch me and at other times it wasn’t enough. I still find myself feeling some resistance to negative emotions and it seems as if the resistance always anchors those negative emotions right into place, like glue. The resistance feels like thoughts and story lines that keep me stuck in whatever the trigger is instead of just releasing and feeling, releasing and accepting…ahhhh.

So I designed this fancy new meditation called the “Sky and Sun” meditation to help whenever we get triggered to vibeswitch us back to happy biochemicals and connected to Spirit state. I am going to record the meditation separately from ONA class but I am also going to practice it with you all on Monday Night (yes, I will need a volunteer) to show how we can actually vibeswitch back to happy biochemicals by opening to and accepting our negative emotions. When the negative emotions are allowed to wash over us, they rarely last more  than three minutes when we are not feeding them with our story lines (thoughts, beliefs, etc.).

We can actually turn the negative emotion itself into the object of our meditation and let the negative emotion bring us back into the present moment!!! Then our negative emotions become our mindfulness bells to be here now!

The amazing Tibetan Lama Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche wrote in his excellent book, “The Joy of Living” that he actually made best friends with his panic attacks and anxiety by turning them into his object of meditation. I have overcome a phobia by turning my anxiety into the object of my meditation. Some people can observe the breath and I simply observed my anxiety! Healed me completely.
